Your arrival in Kathmandu is the first day of the trip. We will welcome you at the arrival gate of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to the trip hotel. You will have free time mostly on your own today. We will surely offer you necessary guidance on wandering around on your arrival time. We will also brief you about the entire adventure trip and answer your questions if you have any. Feel at comfort; relax and try to acclimate in the Nepalese atmosphere. Things may look and feel completely strange to you but that’s the beauty of a new place so find yourself at easy and slowly soak into the local ambience.
Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu – Nagarkot
Kathmandu has a history of more than 2,000 years. We will take you for a tour of the historical, cultural and spiritual places in Kathmandu that are enlisted in the cultural heritage list. A guided visit to Swoyambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath will give you an understanding of the history, culture, spiritual practice and lifestyle of Kathmandu valley. It will be a good starter of the trip. After an insightful day of exploring the cultural and historical wonders of Kathmandu, we will drive to Nagarkot for overnight stay. Nagarkot offers a wonderful view of the Langtang range of mountains and peaceful natural surroundings.
Nagarkot – Kathmandu
We wake up early in the morning to enjoy sunrise view over the spectacular panorama of the Himalayas. If the weather favors us, we will be able to enjoy a breathtakingly beautiful view of the Langtang range and other mountains. Later, we get ready for a 3-hour gentle hiking through beautiful surroundings. We will walk through local villages, farm field and a bit of forested area to Changu Narayan. The walk brings us beautiful and peaceful surroundings to make the walking adventure an amazing memory. We reach Changu Narayan to finish the walk and explore the beautiful heritage site. After exploring Changu Narayan, we drive to Bhaktapur and explore this beautiful medieval town with a palace square. We will return back to Kathmandu after exploring the wonders of lifestyle, culture, and architecture of the medieval town of Bhaktapur.
Khokana Bungmati Tour
We will go for a cultural tour of two beautiful Newari towns. Bungmati and Khokana are two traditional Newari towns in the valley. We will explore the towns today to learn about the lifestyle, language, and culture of Newari people living there. The second half of the day will be at leisure today. After the tour, we return back to hotel and enjoy our time wandering around.
Trip Ends
As the last day on this beautiful adventure trip, we will drive you to the airport for your departure flight as per your flight schedule. If this is not your departure day, the service for this trip ends here. If you have extra days to spend in Nepal and need any other assistance, please do let us know. We will certainly help you in whatever way we can.
We use 3 star hotels for the trip. But you always have the option to upgrade the accommodation with additional cost. The accommodations will be on twin sharing basis.
All the breakfasts are included in the accommodation. For lunches and dinners, the places you travel to will have plenty of restaurants to choose to go.
As this is a cultural exploration, you do not need to walk for long hours. However, a short and gentle walking adventure of 3 hours is involved on the trip.
