The group pricing ladder
Solo it is 1,250 USD. Two or three travellers pay 1,040 USD each, four to six pay 975 USD, and seven or more pay 915 USD. The trek and its acclimatisation day are the same in every tier. Since March 2026 the Manaslu permit can be issued to a single traveller with a licensed guide, so the solo price is a real option now rather than a rate for someone who still has to find a second trekker.
What is inside the price
Two nights in a three-star Kathmandu hotel with breakfast, one before and one after the trek. Selected mountain lodges on twin-share rooms throughout the trek, with breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, tea or coffee up to three times a day and fresh fruit after dinner. The private 4WD from Kathmandu to Machha Khola, and a private vehicle from Dharapani back to Kathmandu via Besisahar. The Manaslu Restricted Area Permit, and the Manaslu and Annapurna Conservation Area permits. A government-licensed English-speaking guide, mandatory in the restricted area, with wages, food, lodging and insurance covered. An insulated jacket, crampons and a sleeping bag on loan, a 70-litre duffel, a trek map, a T-shirt and a cap, a certificate and a farewell dinner. All taxes and service charges are included.
What you will still pay for
Lunch and dinner in Kathmandu, international flights, the visa and your own travel insurance, with high-altitude emergency evacuation cover. Drinks, bottled or boiled water, personal gear and tips for the staff and driver are extra. The roads at both ends are long and rough, eight to ten hours in and ten to twelve hours out, and landslides can close them after rain, so leave a spare day before any onward flight.
Comfort and luxury tiers
Standard is clean lodges and a three-star Kathmandu hotel. Comfort adds roughly 18 percent, about 1,227 USD each for a pair, and luxury adds roughly 45 percent, about 1,508 USD each for a pair, for the best lodges available, a higher-grade Kathmandu hotel and an extra porter. The night at Dharamsala before the pass is in basic, cold lodging, so expect that whatever tier you book.
